Ayer fue el Solid Fest, los planes eran acompañar a mi hermano a su clase de canto y de ahí irnos para La Rinconada a ver dónde iba a ser el espectáculo. Debo decir que la voz de mi hermano cuando canta en la casa no es NADA en comparación cuando lo hace en su clase. De verdad me sorprendí, es un barítono y tiene un bozarrón. Me imagino que es porque ahí vocalizan y calientan y eso antes de cantar las áreas. Luego fuimos al Solid, ya hice una pseudo crónica del show: Pseudo crónica del concierto de KoRn ayer en el Solid fest "Heme" allí sentada en el piso del estacionamiento de El Poliedro de Caracas mientras esperábamos a que comenzara el festival. Anoche me estaba preparando para el próximo concierto de KoRn; y me di cuenta que no tenía ni una canción de ellos en mi iPod. Saqué todos mis CD de ellos para hacerme un buen repertorio y que nada se me escapara… recordé muy buenos tiempos y asombrosamente aún me se TODAS las canciones de los álbumes viejos. Pero seguramente en el Solid Fest van a tocar toda la mierda nueva, y si no tocan los clásicos (aunque sea) me voy a peluquear MAL. La cosa es que me di cuenta que mi infancia estaba resumida en una caja... una caja llena de discos brillantes, y mientras sonaban las canciones recordé todos los sentimientos que descargué mientras agitaba mi cabeza y veía a esos tipos tan cool en MTV. Hasta recuerdo que mi primera franela de alguna banda fue una de KoRn... Uno no se da cuenta en el momento; pero algunos años después puedo ver que en realidad estos panas me ayudaron muchísimo emocionalmente.
