Day 14 — A non-fictional book
I’ve chosen Antes del fin, the memoirs of my favorite writer, the argentinian Ernesto Sábato. (I couldn’t find my copy, and that’s just making me mad). This is a book of a realist, even a pesismist, and sometimes a real romantic men. Someone who was always been againts the world. Still, with almost 100 years old, Sábato is a man who has something to say about everything. To be fair, I think in the war of him againts the world, they’re even. But he doesn’t write cynical critiques, but he gaves us a little push into find solutions. Don’t get me wrong, he’s not a self-steem writer kind of guy. He’s a modern philosopher concern in not finding the ultimate truth, but more interested in just living: reasons, logics, arguments. The thing that I like about him, is that I’m don’t always… or almost never agree with his thoughts, but he writes in a way so exquisite… those images are so wonderfully written, that he just had to be my favorite autor of all time.
